WHICH BLEND TO CHOOSE

WAYCAP works with the coffee blends you can find in our shop, in retail stores, in supermarkets or in coffee stores, and is compatible with these these machines: Essenza, Essenza Mini, Expert, Inissia, Pixie, Lattissima, Citiz, U, Prodigio, Maestria, Creatista e Kitchen Aid. For any doubts, please check our  videos about compatibility.

In order to make a good coffee, another piece of advice we can give you is: avoid too finely ground blends.

Which blend should you choose, then?

Choose one of our blends, BeBop, Fusion and Cool, or a medium-fine ground blend. We tried WayCap with the most common blends sold in supermarkets, check it out.

Fill your capsule and press lightly every half a teaspoon. With some practice and the right filter you will soon get a coffee that is nothing short of a professional one.

WayCap - Interchangeable tops

Filters are interchangeable. Use the filter with more slots if the coffee has been ground for espresso or a filter with less slits if the coffee has a coarser grind. To make things easier for you, take a look at this video.

If you choose an espresso blend, you have to press the coffee less. Do it this way:

  • Place the capsule inside the measuring cup and pour a scant teaspoon of coffee into it
  • Press very lightly
  • Pour another scant teaspoon in and level it, adding coffee or taking excess coffee away by taking the line inside the measuring cup as a reference
  • Close the capsule and make your coffee.

You will need to get used to how much pressure to apply, but in no time you will be able to recognize the right grind and the correct filter to use at first sight and automatically.
